Cabernet marked a dynamic 1st year anniversary in 2009.  The relationship with Eli Lilly and Company (Indianapolis, IN), continues into the second year following productive engagement across the Lilly R&D pipeline and therapeutic lifecycle. Lilly recognized considerable gains in PGx capacity and capability, as well as an increase in organizational effectiveness and efficiency incorporating PGx into routine clinical development. In addition, Cabernet initiated interim consultations with other top ten pharmaceutical companies and Clinical Research Organizations (CROs), providing both PGx planning at the strategic level, as well as seamless execution of project design, management and improved decision making. Throughout the year, Cabernet has been engaged in discussions with various regulatory authorities (including the FDA) to support incorporation of PGx as a standard tool for establishing individual benefit-risk in the evaluation of therapeutics.  As a recognized leader in integrating PGx into drug development and establishing clinical utility, Cabernet has been involved in a number of scientific meetings and training symposia, taking speaker, organization and program development roles for a number of international seminars and workshops (see the new releases section for further details).
